BE A BLESSING 31-DAY PRAYER CHALLENGE

You’re in my prayers ...

Praying for you ...

Keeping you in prayer ...

I’ll pray for you ...

These are all statements we have all probably heard before if not uttered them ourselves. Well if you were the one making the statement what happens after… What happens for me after is sometimes I forget- plain and simple!

Now I know some of you are very organized or holier than me and would never forget to say a prayer for someone-cool…for the rest of you, you may want to join me in this 31 Day Be A Blessing Prayer Challenge!

What is the Be A Blessing Prayer Challenge, you ask?  It’s an opportunity to take the focus off of self and truly focus on and pray for someone else.  How will we remember to do it this time?  Well that’s where the challenge comes in; here are a few reasons to do this as a Challenge:

  • Accountability — As a Challenge participant who will have a group to help keep you accountable and remind you daily to pray.
  • Focus — As a Challenge participant you will know what areas specifically to pray in so that you don’t just keep praying the same things over and over again.
  • Encouragement —We need encouragement to keep praying.  As a Challenge participant you will be part of a community. A community of others praying can help shape your prayers.List Element

This is an awesome opportunity to bless someone- one catch though…DO NOT tell the person you are praying for them. (This could even be someone you do not know personally.) Keep this between you and God!  With everything that goes on in our world- this is a great opportunity to pray it forward!  So for 31 days this will be your assignment- should you choose to accept it.

I am looking for 100 women who are willing to shift the atmosphere with their prayers and ignite transformation!

Praying for someone for 31 days consistently from the crowns of their heads to the soles of their feet is no easy task.  This is an inside out job!

Remember you are Blessed by God in order to be a Blessing!

James 5:16 (NIV)

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

So what are the benefits of praying for others? Glad you asked. Let me list a few here for you:

  • So often we get caught up in our own wants, needs and worries; actively praying for others, shifts the spotlight, and it often puts your own worries and cares into perspective.
  • While circumstances may prevent some people from contributing in a physical way, everyone has the ability to lift up someone else to the Lord.
  • Praying for others can deepen your faith and enhance your life
  • Prayer connects us with other believers
  • Praying for another can helps us combat pride
  • Prayer points us to God and builds our spiritual muscles
  • Prayer deepens fellowship with God

Are you ready to be Blessing?  Join the challenge today!!  When you join the Be A Blessing Prayer Challenge you will get:

  • Access to private FB group
  • This gives us a space to share with one another and build community
  • Calendar with topic/area to pray daily as well as scripture reference
  • You will also receive periodic emails/videos
  • Checklist to help you track who you’re praying for as well as the areas in which you’ve prayed for them

This is a great opportunity to come together and do one of the things God has called us to do…

Ephesians 6:18 (NLT)
